On several pages on the website, a 'search facility' enables website users to search for a surname (or variant surname) of a customer and view results of the surname search. By default, just your surname is placed on our search facility, which will allow other researchers to search and find your surname. If you wish, you can adjust this to allow your surname, variant surnames, web address and objectives of your own test to be placed on our search facility, using the Project Management tools. If you wish to remove your surname from the search facility, you may adjust the sttings on your 'Management Page' or you can write to us instead. Surname Project Administrators have the option of submitting/removing their Project details (which usually includes surnames being researched) to the 'search facility' via their pages at Oracle. We will screen and forward any contact messages from other researchers on to individual customers via email. Email addresses of our customers are never disclosed.

Cell samples are destroyed after a period of 6 months once the order to which they relate is delivered as a laboratory quality control measure. This period also allows any other tests to be ordered by the customer without the need for re-submission of a sample. Other data is kept only as necessary for our own internal business purposes.

Please be aware that external web sites that may be accessed via hyperlinks from our site may collect personally identifiable information about you. The information practices of those third-party web sites linked to our site are not covered by this privacy statement.
